LAT-GS Licence Appeal Tribunal – General Service

Licence Appeal Tribunal – General Service (LAT-GS) oversees a wide range of legislation and case types, including driving appeals related to vehicle impoundment and licence suspensions, appeals of monetary orders or licensing to carry on business in regulated industries, consumer compensation claims, and appeals of compliance orders for individuals and businesses in certain industries.

The LAT has two divisions – LAT-GS and LAT-AABS (Automobile Accident Benefits Service). LAT-AABS resolves motor vehicle insurance claims, including disputes about an insured person’s right to, or amount of, a statutory motor vehicle accident benefit.
