Effective December 1, 2023, the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT) – General Service can accept appeals under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA). TRESA will replace the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002. TRESA regulations apply to real estate brokers and salespersons in Ontario. The Real Estate Council of Ontario is responsible for enforcing TRESA regulations.
